Hello, gurus, i currently have a GTX 460, but i have a friend selling his AMD Radeon Visiontek HD6970 2GB to me for $280.00, now i seen that video card go for about 340.00 plus tax, so it seems like a good deal. Now my question is, will i see a noticeable difference? i game at 1920x1080, will my cpu and ram be a bottleneck?

    Go for it..i upgraded from a 6850(about as fast as a 460) to a reference 6950(unlocked to 6970) and i noticed a significant boost..and that was with a core 2 duo e7500 at 4ghz..

Yes, especially with those clocks. You'll do fine. Get the card and enjoy.
