upgrading ssd

    hi, is it worth upgrading to ssd 2012 i already own intel ssd 80gb x25-m, thank you

    Prices are cheaper now than when you purchased the M25.

    You could use the M25 for your OS, and a 256 gig ssd for games/programs/etc.

    Lots of good deals on the samsung 830 right now.

    hi, am using my old 80gb M25 for windows 7 and got 1tb hard drive for gaming, i just want to know is it worth upgrading to better ssd for windows for more performance, thanks

    Realistically, you won't see any meaningful boot time improvement going from an M25.
    Maybe you'll shave 10% off your boot, or something like that...

    You'd be better off simply getting an SSD for your programs/games.
    Improve your load times there.
