upgrading from sis 6326 to nvidia cards

I'm inqiuring whether its possible to upgrade from sis 6326 to nvidia riva tnt 32 mb or geforce2 32 mb cards.
If the upgrade is possible , then what is the procedure needed for the upgrade ?

 

Remove old card - insert new card...

Delete old drivers - install new drivers...

 

also if the card is integrated on the mobo check in the bios to see if there is a option to disable the sis. if there is disable it befor you insert the new card..
