A friend of mine has a Radeon 9600XT and since I have no experiences with ATI at all I have a question - is there any possibility he can do something with his card or not?
I have found only 9500 and 9700 discussed in the forums, but almost nothing about 9600 - does it mean, he can't do anything to change the card to FireGL or unlock something?
    Thanks for the answer guys...

    Hello @ readers,

through various threads in different forums I came accross this forum here and was directed to this thread. I have a problem with my PowerDVD Player and displaying video (DVD) on my secondary display (TV).

PowerDVD offers the ability to turn on hardware accelaration which does work for the primary display...

but not if it is turned on and DVD video is moved to the secondary display. If you move the player over to the 2nd screen you still get audio, but the video freezes/ remains black/blank.

What I have read so far but not fully understood is the fact that OpenGL acceleration doesn't really work for both displays at the same time. My question is, does RivaTuner offer the ability to tweak my windows/registry/ATI driver or what is needed and if, could you be so kind to link me to an appropriate guide to do so.

I don't know what you need to offer me some kind help but that's what I have found out so far by myself:
