NVHardPage fail with detection name of your nVidia card - some times its possible

Others functions was without effect? Plese try e/disable some functions and look if are functionaly.

Or try this: in regedit.exe create key: H_C_U/Software/nVHardPage/Device = "1"

    Same problem, Ge4 Ti 4200

    Hello there,
I´m affraid I have the same problem, and the hardware, display and refresh options are disabled (grey).
I tried the regedit solution but I must be too newbie to do it right, could you explain it a little bit more?

    THX!

Download latest beta from BETA SECTION and try. This is not a official release, is not fully tested.

Hardware, display and refresh options are disabled for Win9x/Me.

All right, the beta program does recognize the the video card but is true as well that Hardware, display and refresh options are disabled for Win9x/Me.

    Thanks!

I downloaded the beta and it still lists my card as UNKNOWN.
I tried refresh rate fix, and that lets me select rates, but does not affect them.

    :(

    I have a Leadtek A250 TD (GF4 4400)
    Using Nvidia drivers 29.42
    windows 2000

Please use v0.97.7b, not beta from beta section (0.95.xb).

In left side from UNKNOWN CARD text is a "downward arrow", so click on it and select from list. If list is empty, then nVHardPage its not able to correct read information of your card. (My testing on Win2000 is a ... hmmm ... little "light". :) )

The list is completely empty when I select down arrow on both your official version and the beta version.

Something like this is worth a few bucks to me, the fellow that wrote the other Nvidia Refresh Selector discontinued at 23.11. Seeing games with annoying 60hz flicker is, well, annoying.

Unless you specifically get the XP64bit driver, the drivers should be the same on both 2K and XP.

    Technically Win 2000 is NT5.0
    Win XP is NT5.1

    They are here difference:

One example from nVidia Compressed Modes User’s Guide:

    ----------------------------------------
    For Windows 2000—
“HKR” in the INF represents the registry key
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\nv4\\Device X
    where X is one of 0, 1, 2, 3, ….

    For Windows XP—
“HKR” in the INF represents the registry key
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\Video\\GUID\\XXXX
where the “GUID” stands for an ID string and “XXXX” can be either 0000, 0001, 0002, etc.

The exact path represented by “GUID\\XXXX” is found in the registry key
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\hardware\\Devicemap\\Video\\Device\VideoX,
where “X” is one of 0, 1, 2, etc. If an NVIDIA card is the first or only card installed, the key is Video0, which is the most common case.
    ----------------------------------------

Right now I found a program called refreshlock on guru3d. It is a little bit awkward to set up, but it is the only program what works.
