  1. Can anyone confirm if SLI is not working for you? not sure if its 1080ti SLI issue or just SLI in general.

    5616 Extreme preset.

Bit lower than Hilberts score, damn haha

Probably not with this bench, CPU sat at 13% or something the whole run for me, it's a GPU bench, same as Heaven and Valley

  4. Depends, coz i'm getting 500 points less than hilberts 1080ti, but the difference is our CPUs, mines just a 6800k@4.3Ghz, whereas hilberts on what? a 5960X? @4.3Ghz, so the difference is a couple more cores and threads at the same frequency yet a decent difference in score results.

Couldnt see a difference between 1080 high and 1080 extreme but it is enough to drop my fps by 50

Yeah, can confirm. SLI not working for now. Though most likely will be soon. They should've launched it SLI-ready though (and CrossFire of course.)

Seems to be very CPU dependent.
Lower GTX1080 scores than Hilbert's, but my CPU is also clocked lower (just 4.0)

Also, this test seems to be single-threaded. I have 6800k and the bench only runs on CPU 0, Thread 0.

Anno 2017, this is terrible. Almost irrelevant for the actual computer performance in games.
    - 3/5 for graphics (realistic but not really impressive, just one boring room)
    - 1/5 for resource utilization and API support on a modern benchmark (complete fail)

    /uninstalling.

For some reason it won't launch for me.
Works on my step sons rig, my server, my HTPC, but not my main rig.

Personally I think it is really cool looking. Shame no DX12/Vulkan, but not a deal breaker.

Cheers for the quick review Hilbert.

DO you know roughly how much Video memory is required for each of the High/Ultra/Extreme settings at 1080p ?

Just wondering if 4GB is going to be enough.

Have you tried to download, install and run?
It's in the main window where you chose your settings!

    PS: 4GB is enough.

This is easy to use, it really looks fantastic and it has music that isn't annoying. I'd call it pleasant.

With my main rig, I averaged 97 FPS on 1080p medium and something like 27 FPS on 1080p extreme. The extreme looked smoother than that.

As to the benchmark theme, I wish my father were still alive to see this stuff as it would be right up his alley. He loved PCs (we bought our first in 1981) and he was an electronics engineer that designed cutting edge (classified) weapons and defense systems. We had oscilloscopes and other weird electronic junk in our garage (still do).

    Nicely done again, Unigine.

(re-reading the thread, I see I missed the boat on complaining. I'm always late to these things...)

Nice overall looking, but the TAA is total garbage. Fails completely at solving aliasing, and just makes object surfaces super smudgy like many other TAA techniques.. Screen space effects are ugly, and overly noisy and have ugly draw in at edges of the buffer.
