    Hello

    My benchmarks for GTX 680 4GB Sli running with i7 920 @ 4.0Ghz

First up is a maxed out run:

Second run is a maxed out run using Nvidia 3Dvision:

Third run is a maxed out run with no AA in Nvidia 3Dvision:

I find that in 3Dvision there is not much IQ quality difference between X8 AA and no AA. Its as if the 3Dvision effect smooths out edges by the 3D rendering effect alone. This goes for all games. The performance hit is almost for nothing.

I'm happy how my i7 920 is still holding its own for gaming. Great chip. No need for any expense in upgrading yet.

    Cheers

For stock thats not bad and not bad with the bot points today BlackZero
All you have to do is run cpu @4,500 then clock the card and turn off tess,it really adds to the scores/points with the hwbot app.
Since you are the only person who submitted a score at hwbot in months, even i have been busy so we could use a bump.
    Just saying

Thanks, just trying to be methodical with the benchmarks and taking it slow. I did do a heaven bench at the bot today, a few others as well. Nothing special as usual, so just a few points, hopefully it helps the team a little.

I will try to do another run once I start to overclock the card. it was only delivered today.

    Just for kicks, ran the benchmark on my 3rd rig - X9650 @3.7ghz, Asus Maximus II Formula, Sapp HD6990 @880/1350, Cat12.11 B11 + 12.11 CAP2
    [IMG]

FYI, previous run was at same clockspeed with Cat12.8, scored 1253 compared to now...

^^ Geez dude, you have 3x HD7950 and you're benching @1680x1050, do it @1080P at least, curious to see what you'd score. You had me goin' there for a moment, I did a double take when I saw the score aand your cards, was thinking what the heck I had done wrong to score lower than you on a higher spec'ed system.

Maybe his monitor can't do 1080p.

Quite possible, but unlikely...'else why would he need 3x HD7950 in the first place? You'd only need 'only' 2 for 2560x1600 gaming to ensure smooth framerate.....3 such cards sound like multi-monitor. Wait a sec, he could be running 3x 1680x1050 monitors, so yeah, maybe.

Actually I am running three koreans 2560x1440.

Think it's the standard res for this benchmark.

Nice, but the standard resolution for benchmarks is 1080p, not 1050p. :p

the problem is that everyone should not use different settings but use the same. so obviously all your scores are pointless to be compared to others.

Yep, max everything @1080P, for my main rig, I had no choice by to do 1200P as, oddly enough, Heaven benchmark woukd crash should I force 1080P, when I ran it @1200P, no problemo.

I feel a bit happy with my current configuration because my gaming LCD is only 1280*1024 and with the 7850 2GB(1170/4480) i have the same score points as one 7970 with less power draw.I know i know, fullhd is sweet, but i use this monitor since 2006 with no problems.

Third run stock air max on 7970 (1300/1600), not pushing memory.

Took another run, this time CPU's @4.37ghz, GPUs @1100/1450
    [IMG]
I should be close to Phen's quad SLi score since my GPUs have to work a little harder @1200P....
