Don't really remember over 900 for sure, I see hans has H2O on his so he should be able to give me a run in the same res.
Switched around some things in my case( moved my pcie sound card to the 1x slot, and the 5870 in the top slot to the bottom so instead of being in a 16X8 pair, the 5870's are running 8x8 2.0) Surprisingly enough it may a pretty big difference here. only thing is IM running at 3.3ghx on the cpu not real sure where the 4.9 is coming from; I just installed core temp? maybe that jacked it up?
There has to be something wrong here... Your 2x5870 is beating every single 5970 in this thread bigtime, never seen it before 0_o
I agree, Ill run it again just in case and post when its done. Have to load up into my windows install. The thing that is really throwing me off is the clock speed listed on the CPU. Im running at 3.2/3.3 not 4.freakin 9.
Ok So I ran it again. and its back to normal. That was really weird it ran like that 2 runs after switching my hardware around. Shut my box down afterward, brought it back up this evening. A creative driver installed after the fresh boot today and its back to normal. Clocks show normal now as well. Nice while it lasted.
My settings are: 950 / 1175 - both 5970's have an EK-waterblock. CPU is i7950 @4.46 (23x192) Driver set in this test was Xtreme-G 10.8, which does very well for this benchmark. When can I have my beer?? :beer:
Thats about it on this one. Extreme settings AA maxed and Anis Maxed this one was with my 5970's Xfire.
Unigine refuses to run with extreme tessellation on my Gear !!! when I set it to extreme tess. and as soon as I press benchmark it goes back to normal tess. by itself ! :bang:
