Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End

It's not that it's not capable, it's about it visually falling behind 1920x800/30 games like The Order.

If it's 1920x1080/60, it will feel like a wasted opportunity to crank the visual quality up.

 

I don't see why the game can not run at 1920 x 1080 @ 60, and still look just as good as we saw with previous gameplay footage. Worse case would be 30 FPS. Not a bad thing if it keeps the framerate at an exceptable level.

Given that this is a Sony only title, you can expect something amazing from Naughty Dog.

 

Not at all surprised by the delay. Didn't not believe the 2015 vague date they claimed.

And based on the little we have seen, it's probably a good thing it's getting pushed back. Let them make it just right.

 

It's more that they would have to scale back some of the graphics a bit to reach 60fps.

Order 1886 looks good because it only just gets to 30, they spent it all looking nice.

 

While delays generally annoy me (because the stated reasons are usually BS), where Naughty Dog is concerned, take as long as you like.

While my only experience of their games is 'The Last of Us' (one of the best games I've ever played), if it is anything to go by, Uncharted 4 will be well worth the wait.

 

Another game looking forward too.

 

I want it on PC, really dont fancy buying PS4

 

Also the first trilogy are being remastered for PS4

How is this even possible? How does the PS4 do this? I'm seriously hyped for this now, looks absolutely amazing.

 

Developers have only just begun to tap in to the power of the console. You ain't seen nothing yet.

 

I was alot less impressed with it after the first 30 seconds or so.

I think what they did with the PS3 and U2/3 impressed me alot more, but it's hard to tell with the low quality video footage, and the fact these days i'm less in awe of the pretty but heavily scripted look.

 

Uncharted is the king of scripted, but making it feel a touch open.

It's easier to make everything pretty when you don't allow for real freedom, I could imagine that the car chase scene wouldn't look so amazing if you stopped, but why would you?

Looking forward to the ps4 uncharted collection, playing them again at 1080p and hopefully more than 30fps (or lower, think the ps3 dipped in all 3 of them)

 

Everyone keeps saying how great it looks, I honestly can't tell. None of these feeds I've found are decent quality even if they claim to be 1080...

I'm looking forward to it anyway. I love the series. Games like this are the reason I bought a console. These are the kind of AAA experiences that the PC no longer gets.

It does show up the flaws now, so hopefully ND can get some AA working for the final game.

 

Yeah it looks amazing, I just hope we can see the last 10 minutes of the demo (shown behind closed doors), which they say it's the best part .

When are we going to see this kinda of stuff on our PCs?
