    Hey guys

    This may be a dumb ass question, but I have yet to find a way to make a .bat that will make the driver unattended/silent?

    With NVIDIA it's as easy as throwing a -s flag into the mix. Not quite the same with AMD. Then again, I am not an experienced scripter, and I know that some people have made versions that run each packaged installation individually. But there must be a better way.. Really?

    I think it's:

    @echo off

    At the top of the script to not show it on screen

    Yep it is, and actually I am just throwing this around without having looked into it for a few months now. But I never got it to work. I don't remember the error, but I think I just basically wasnt able to find a flag to start it in silent/unattended.

    What I do is
    \bin64\atisetup.exe -install -use < whatever path>\Packages\
    It doesn't work for betas though, because you get that unsigned driver prompt.

    Ah well screw that, just as long as the release drivers work.

    But you see, that isn't exactly the most straight forward way. Do you then have to point in the specific direction for each package? E.g. Packages\Drivers\amdkmpfd\W764A\amdkmpfd.msi ? Or does it work to just use the "root" packages folder.

    I think you can simply point to the packages and it will install everything, or you can somehow (I forgot how) specify individual packages. I simply delete everything I don't want installed and use the root folder.

    But the closest thing to a totally silent complete install, would just be to point towards the packages then?

    I will try it soon. Thanks.

    But that's exactly what I tried to say.
    It's not "closest to", it IS totally silent. Just don't use betas (or do some voodoo to have unsigned drivers accepted without questions).

    I'd rather not want to play around with voodoo. It makes my brain hurt. Thanks Octopuss :)!

    I just tried it out. The atisetup.exe just opens a command window and closes it down instantly. No processes started or anything.

    And then try to figure out how they do the unattended? I would really prefer not to have a program to do this for me :D!
