My memory was running something like 3-4-3-9 @ 2.85v - not too bad really from DDR610, but could be better......crank the memory speed up, its the only way to get a low time

Good to see im still #1 baby, wasnt expecting that. Mind you theres a few people I know on here that could challenge my time, but they havent posted...........yet:)

i finally found a bios that allows me to change multi in bios, from the p4p800 se
i dont know for sure what this bios does to my proc exactly, but i can go over 2.5 now, where with any p4p800-e bios, setting a speed over 2.5 would instantly lock up.
my new time doesnt change my rank, but still...

You may be able to get higher if you clock it up in windows (clockgen). Some boards wont boot at high speeds, but can do them already in windows.

33 seconds with dual opteron 1.6ghz... *sigh I dunno why they're so much slower. Maybe the fact that they are the first versions. They are both almost 2 years old now.

i am booting at 200*12 and using cpumsr to lower multi in windows and clockgen to up the frequency. Im going to try if it responds to voltage now, but my voltage drops a lot, i have set it at 2.45 in bios, and cpuz shows it as 1.3.

    Hey Chicken,

Tweaked some more out of the opty. Doesn't change my position. I really need my new memory to show up. I think its going via china or something.

    I got 44.516 on my 1.73ghz P4 Dothan.
    I got 39.250 on my 3.4ghz P4 Prescott.
I'll edit this to put links to images in tomorrow. I might even be able to add my amd comp if the internet decides to work on it.
