is my time, stock air cooling modded on a 80mm fan on it though to make it quieter
jocke, whats up with the ram timings? 2-4-4-8? Cant you get it to 2-3-3-8 for example?
Anyone have any ideas on what categories (if any) I should use for ranking, otherwise people are going to get killed by opterons/fx.
updated my score, got a 39.234 now
upped my FSB to 209 for a little while, didnt really bother with stability testing
i have no doubt though that its stable, i could still up the volts a bit, and it was stable enough to complete the superpi run and do the screenie
i dont run Oced standard, just wanted to beat jocke
chickenrun, i suggest a seperate opteron listing, i think Fx's could be listed with the opty's, as both are clocking mad speeds
for the rest, amd64's can be ranked together with p4's and sempy's imho
might want to make a seperate ranking for the celerons though, it would be rather harsh on them to actually be put up against amd cpu's costing the same 1 on 1
donnu haven't really tried. xD. Drfreeze you evil evil basterd!!!
Got a ss drfreeze? Gotta have things up-to-date
well i saw your 39.4, and i knew my claw could do better feel like beating my 39.2?
chickenrun: i keep posting my screenie with the same name on my webspace, so the screenie in my post is always the most recent one, BTW, my entry in the list still says 2.2, its at 2.3 now, and i should be above jocke
Yea its updated.
Then I move the photo's to my server and have everything organized
@Drfreeze i had my cpu clocked at 2.4ghz can't go much higher.
I think the reason is my crap ass memory and PSU
Well gonna try 2-3-3-8 on my memory now, bye bye.
jocke, your screenie says 2.3
still a nice oc for a 1.8 stock cpu, but id love to see what you can do on 2.4
and as i said, i didnt run extensive stability testing, i run my cpu stock normally
if you are going to seperate in opteron/fx, a64/p4 and celly, where do i fit in????
lol, well the P-m can swim with the big guys just fine looking at the scoreboard
28.125 Cpu 3Ghz Ram DDR600 1:1 ^^ test, running system at 2.85 Ghz 1:1 DDR 570 2.5-4-4-8 to see if its 24/7 stable vs my old 2.8Ghz 1:1 3-3-3-6
Could you add a cpu-z window with that please.
Updated ranking methods.
Most balanced I can think of heh.
Well couldnt get it to 2.4 though, 2.367 here is the link
3400+(s754) @ 2.95ghz(268x11), 2.5-3-3-6, 1T
cooled by a single stage phase.
good show now i have no choice but to crank it too 2.4
dunno really, i think ill leave it at this, i got my ram on very sharp timings as it is, and seeing how sharpening my timings gained me more then a 100 mhz OC, im not sure if i want to get into the whole fuss, my ram might do 218 at thight timings, and it might not, if it doesnt, ill be stuck with a lot of tweaking...
if i change my mind, ill post a benchie
EDIT: sorry jocke, beat you again ;p
37.422 sec, 11x218, ram still at 2-3-2-6 T1 timings
temps went to 43 max under stress, but i didnt test much, ran superpi 1m, 4m to do more stability, and ran 3dm01, my oc raised my score 1k1 to 21k9
BTW, sorry to keep you busy this much chickenrun, but i love this topic
I would have had a cpu-z shot with it but I had my computer lock up when I tried DDR620 ^^ so didnt get one, its easy enough to run my cpu 3ghz 1.5v tho not sure if i can just use clockgen right now since memory timings are tighter might not make ddr600
Edit yep it ran 2.5-4-4-8 at 3ghz time didnt get better tho than cas 3.
then I crashed it again 3.1Ghz 1:1 trying to get in the 27's lol
Try 305x10 or something then. 3.1 may be too much.
Chicken i need you to make a correction to my score, i did it with my 3500+ Newcastle, i sold my Venice. Also, its nice to be back you guys miss me ? been along time since i even touch my comp... Good to be home
