    anyone flashed any of there reference 290x's to give them UEFI capatibility? or is it hardware also?

    great news! the ASUS bios flash worked! so if any one else wants UEFI.

    I did have to extract the files though not a straight flash from the exe. used the atiflash -p -f 0 in windows. first. because the winati will stall seeing that its not an asus card. could have used ati flash in dos but for some reason it will flash but still no UEFI.

    after using that command is dos prompt in windows. it will flash then stall. after close it. use the winflash utility from asus and flash because it now sees it as a asus card. UEFI now works with my 290x
