Ubuntu on Android by Canonical!

    Just saw, Canonical got to run the full ubuntu desktop on android usind own's android's kernel! It's said to run on smartphones with at least 1Ghz dual-core arm cpu.

    Does anyone know if Ubuntu can be installed on a Samsung Galaxy 4S?
    Apart from the super AMOLED screen being great for viewing porn, this seems as good a reason as any for digging deep and buying one! ;)

    do you like doing stuff that requires power? like PC games? then yes.

    if you just wana skype/web browse,etc this will probably be fine when its all tweaked and we get beefier phones.
