    You should play Gothic 1 or 2. Those have the worst running animation!

    I tried the game but meh... I think I'll wait till it comes out in NA with all features.

    Also, DOF is annoying, overused and makes everything blurry. Awful.

    The DoF effect can be disabled from the options menu. :)

    Anyone know of a way to mark a quest as completed, by force perhaps? (CMDS or otherwise)

    Basically, on "Left Behind" you create Ice bolt to kill the creature. I did just that, but, it never marked the quest as completed. So, here I am, quite far beyond that and I still have the gold flag pointing to that Q as my active, no matter what.

    It's in no way game breaking, just a real annoyance, since no new quests are marked as they should be on the map.

    Anyway, figured I'd ask, kind of a shot in the dark. ..I'd probably just have to start a new game, which I refuse to do. (Not that big of a deal.)

    Interesting. I think it depends on personal liking. I like dof alot. In gta4 , ps3 version was using more dof than pc, when i started the pc version i tried to find out the ways of putting more dof to it. Then found some mods etc. In tw2, dof pleases me but well, may annoy some people like u as i see. What u think about gameplay?

    I didn't buy the game yet, because I've been reading some interesting discussions on the official forum (zuxxez forum) regarding the length of the game and the fact that the big island you see in the world map is in fact nearly entirely devoted to the multiplayer mode, and so that you can't explore it fully in solo mode.
    Some people are already claiming that some content was removed (DLC ?)...it reminds me of mafia 2 :(
    Is this true?

    Sort-of, there's still around 30 hours of playtime for the game, I'm nearly at the third chapter and 21 hours into it, main island as mentioned is dedicated to multiplayer minus a few select areas, rest is desolate and unpopulated.
    (Village mode and MP scenariors at about 10 hours or so to go trough.)

    Killed a level 50 special enemy in a rather epic fight on a remote island, was quite rewarding though also a very challenging and totally unexpected encounter.

    I disabled HDR by engine.hdr 0 - cause the blur makes me dizzy and those work, but there is some kinda "Gamma BUG" cause Gamma is to high with it disabled, here's how it looks with gamma on lowest settings (1/30):

    Night time looks prety decent, but don't know how to set the game to be night all the time. With HDR on I get dizzy from blur, with it off i get dizzy from gamma... :puke2:

    Engine.gammapower might work, think the default was 0.65 or 0.68, lower makes it darker and higher makes it brighter.

    As for Arcania - that game is an "Epic Fail"... they failed making a veritable sequel for Gothic series and realized that, then end-up calling it "Casual"... Until Arcania, games like Zuma were known as casual, calling an RPG casual (even an action RPG), that's like saying they failed making a decent game, not much of it - but here... try it for 2$... won't make much profit from it being what it is, but at least we get paid. Yet, they didn't to that - they sold it "as if it was a good game" by using the name Gothic - and the history of this name, as if what it stands for...

    How so?

    The original was called Two Worlds and referred both to the overland and underland map or also the southern and northern part of the worldmap, sequel was called Two Worlds: Temptation initially and planned as a smaller expansion but was turned into a full sequel and changed into Two Worlds 2 :)
