    anybody has it?

    imo its great, just started playing it yesterday, nice gfx and game play, reminds me of POP + DMC and a little TombRaider in it :D

    But here is the real thing why i made this thread.. Does anybody know how to get rid of those blob shadows? :S

    its a U3E game, i already tweaked some stuff, like these lines:
    found@ C:\Users\username\Documents\Disney Interactive Studios\Tron Evolution\UnrealEngine3\GridGame\Config

    bUseBackgroundLevelStreaming=FALSE (was true this eliminates game loading stutter)
    AllowShadowVolumes=True (was the same on false - for testing only)
    bDisablePhysXHardwareSupport=FALSE (was true by default)

    bGripDESShadowsEnabled=TRUE (testing only, it didnt help)
    .
    .
    bSmoothFrameRate=TRUE
    MinSmoothedFrameRate=22
    MaxSmoothedFrameRate=120 (was 62) >> now it hoovers around 90-110fps
    .
    .
    [TextureStreaming]
    PoolSize=320 (was 160, now it holds more data, so it doesn't hickup)
    MinTimeToGuaranteeMinMipCount=0 (2)
    MaxTimeToGuaranteeMinMipCount=0 (12)
    .
    .

    [SystemSettings]
    DynamicShadows=TRUE (was false, for testing)
    OnlyStreamInTextures=TRUE (was false)
    .
    .
    Trilinear=True (added)
    .
    .
    MaxAnisotropy=8 (was 4)
    bEnableBranchingPCFShadows=TRUE (was false, for testing)

    and its still showing those blob shadows, even on my character, not to mention AI's..

    anybody knows hot to get rid of it? :nerd:

    Hey man, I can't answer you. But all that stuff you changed, what did it do?

    Does it look better, and how much slower is it?

    I borrowed it from a friend, and uninstalled after 30 mins..
    It's a disaster imho, from graphics to controls..

    none of the stuff slows it down, in fact bigger poll size and disabled background level streaming fixed some of the ingame loading stutter.. im avg at around 75-120fps with forced 4xaa using MassEffect aa compatibility flag - instead of default 0x00000045.

    visually not much, forced Trilinear made a bit better image quality - now it renders aniso tirlinear filtering..

    im still getting those blob shadows though, im think i'll have to take more time and study each Shadow setting..
