The first run is at 1680 x 1050, 4xaa, ultra high. I'll show a comparison between a slight overclock of 960 to a major overclock of 1000. The Core i7 975 is running at 4.72ghz

    Core: 960 , Memory: 1280

    1680 x 1050 ultra high 4xaa

    1680 x 1050 ultra high 4xaa. core clock: 1000

    2048 x 1152 ultra high 4xaa standard overclock

    2048 x 1152 ultra high 4xaa @ 1000mhz core

I personally love the last result as it shows the potential of what these cards can achieve at higher resolutions. Just amazing!

For some reason I do believe the third card might be getting in the way at this point because of driver issues. The framerates actually jump when having only 2 cards enabled versus 3. That will be fixed in the next driver I hope.

Ive head Tri-Fire and Quad-fire don't really scale well in any game with any gpu from ati/amd. I think they only work well for synthetic test.

Im lost :bugeye:, you are testing in 27" but doing tests at 1680 x 1050, what resolution have those 27" monitors ?

At first look seems a standard 1920X1200 monitor.

Vote for Crysis, the first ;), too ...

I'm trying to get a general resolution for everyones comparison versus a high resolution. As I did in far cry 2.. Actually decided to reformat because I was getting some odd numbers in 3dmark vantage with 3 gpu's.. Hopefully I can fix that.. Think I forgot to install the intel chipset software... That would help right? :)

i had to do a fresh vista install in the end going from nvidia to ati. was getting some performance issues.

early days but seems to be running like a charm. although was playing champions online and got driver not responding message. i installed sp2 for vista and took off the oc and voila no driver issues..strange.

looking good btw. shame u havent got a better camera...(man $150 would get a decent panasonic :) check out the dmc-fs5..cheap/quality)

much nicer! spacey! triple bat*******...imagine how they are gonna run with waterblocks on. phew.

ati has impressed with the cooling on the 5870. i was kinda crapping it..but have been really pleased. havent gone hardcore on the voltage yet but hottest it's been is 74c and that with 35 fan speed which is barely audible.

not 2 sure if it's sucking in dust though. have a haf932 and can get a fair bit of dust coming through the front. might have to stick on some panty hose dust filters..

lol! Sounds fun. I am surprised about the temps. I've got all my parts for a custom watercooling job I'm starting tomorrow. Should get some pretty good
clocks from that. I used to have everything in a haf. Love that case. Definitely one of the best for all options. :)

try 5 hour energy and a shot of vodka lol! or baileys irish cream and coffee. for some reason a very little amount of alcohol and caffeine keeps me up forever.

That last pic was A LOT better. whats the model number of the camera you just got? There are alot of settings and im sure someone can help you get some really good pix with a few adjustments.
