Thanks so much!! Cheers!! Installed everything fresh and ready to rock the high res now with some benches. Cant wait to find out if you can actually utilize the cards full power/potential. Had to get one of those display port adapters from dell.. One monitor needs a display port or it wont work.. luckily the dell store is right around the corner.

 

Yeah man! That would be awesome! Hosting a windows 7 party the day before it's release. Maybe you could come to that.. A bunch of free stuff from microsoft. pm me

 

so if you have 2 cards or 3 u canr connect a monitor to the second one?
monitors only go on the main card?

 

Yeah. You need one for display port and two for dvi on one card.. Had to get a dual link dvi displayport adapter..

Here's the other two cards and the new 4-way Classified.. I'll be using that board as well..

 

In Hilberts article he said eyefinity is only compatibel with single card setups at the moment, and multi monitor support will be added in future driver releases/

 

bodar why different brands of ati? why 4 way sli? can u 4 way 5870?

 

I just wanted different brands so I could get 3 at the same time. But, Also to see the difference. I dont know if you can officially use 4 cards in crossfire on this board yet. I guess there's one way to find out I'm also hoping later that I can somehow use nvidia cards with this board.. 4-way

yea i also saw a review that wouldnt allow xfire + eyefinity yet..but a driver release should change that..hopefully very very soon..cant wait to see pics of everything up in running..and when/if u dont need those anymore..u can send 1 or 2 or 3 to florida..ill test em

 

lol!! For sure.. I posted a while back about getting rid of a 285 for free. It has a waterblock on it but I think after I do a tri card test on both They'll be going out. I've got everyones name down who asked about the free 285. Testing right now.. Have a list of games I want to test at super high res.. All the latest titiles of course. I was surprised that crysis ran so well.. Proc was overclocked to 4.72ghz, but for one card at very high settings. That was some impressive gameplay.. tri fire right now

 

More pics. Tweaking everything to get it just right!! Tomorrow I will have the adapter to hook up all 3.. Looks big already with two. Here are some video shots. Lovin it!
