They're blocking at the IP level, you need a proxy to get around it.
Plenty of proxies about, anyone who knows how to use torrents/magnets will know of proxies...
^No proxy necessary - https://tpb.pirateparty.org.uk/
just type https instead of http and everything is ok
I don't knew what they were trying to ban ,The piratebay have its secure website .
Using https doesn't work for me. I have to use a proxy.
I use Open DNS anyway but everything looks like my ISP is not blocking the site at the moment. BE is my ISP which I think is part of O2.
BE are just awesome, best ISP in the UK, imo. It's true they're owned by o2, but they operate as a separate company and have a more lenient Fair Usage Policy.
I just wish they offered fibre, I wouldn't have to think twice about signing up.
UK has the stupidest laws hahahah :stewpid:
I'm with TalkTalk, nothing blocked here as of yet.
I don't use TPB, if its banned I may give it a look though! **** em!
Not everyone can afford to pay $60 or more to try out software. It would be unfortunate for them if Pirate Bay went away.
Why? Not like there aren't a million alternatives never mind mirrors.
Pirate Bay is just one of 74747584834 torrent websites, this doesn't change anything, besides, there's already ways to bypass it easily.
Internet piracy is here to stay.
Adapt your business model to compete against it, or die fighting it.
It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives.
It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.
