Also wish every1 in this forum a healthy and happier new year! =DD So what I came to ask here is this if somebody knows about it in the first place ee =)............A Toyota Corolla AE86 had the nickname hachi - roku..........Now I am interested to know if a nickname to the Toyota Starlet EP80 was also given? hachiroku means 86 in japanese. It was an amazingly successful racecar, and street tuner which gained huge amounts of popularity with car enthusiasts. The starlet AFAIK was never really used much in racing, never had much popularity and definitely not nearly as much as the 86. example of a tuned hachiroku;
