Top Gun: Maverick (2020) – New Trailer is Out

despite the fact that my army flies F-18 too, they are old a bit disappointed that they didn't use the movie as an opportunity to showcase more recent planes
I would have taken 20 years old plane, fa18 are 41 years old if you didn't know

 

Those are F-18 E/F Super Hornets. The Navy has never used and will never use the F-16 or the F-22. The F-35 is a joke, useless in a dogfight, a Top Gun pilot wouldn't caught dead flying one.

 

Or like Arnold in yet another Terminator movie as much as i am not fan of Cruise, he atlest look presentable, the other 2 need to just stop imo

I Still waiting for Rocky : "last round", because Rambo: last blood was just needed or wanted atlest not imo, but the over top blood and violence sells

I wonder if the movie starts with the last scene shown in the trailer, the Aurora looking stealth aircraft, and then Maverick does something with that aircraft or something happens while he is piloting that aircraft that gets him ordered to be instructor for new pilots....

No idea who the baddies are going to be.

Super Hornet have been used now for about 19 years, I didn't see any Classic Hornet in the trailer.

I don't know.. accordance to this article, I think the F35 is a pretty darn good plane.. expensive but pretty survivable. Just wish they can build them faster.
