How though. I like the new lara, but the gameplay and game itself was terrible and couldnt be further from a TR game.
I wonder how, and if, timed exclusivity on a console with a lower install base, will affect the next games sales, should be interesting to watch while i wait for it on steam.
Its what you get when the TR style of gameplay is "perfected" by the Uncharted series, and thus needs to compete. Uncharted was basically an edgier Tomb Raider, so they made Tomb Raider edgier.
This what todays gamers want and it will getting worse in future games. Thats why i almost dont buy games any more its all a money grab. See sales of DAI its hilarious how low sales are compare to game like Skyrim. DAI should have been Origin period thats why i did not buy it and this whats going on they all try copy succesors in the hope it sells and majority fails. I have low hopes for The Witcher 3 also seeing the latest 15min gameplay again shown with fuc... console port. The NPC AI in The Witcher 3 seems as DUMB as skyrim wtf, graphics sucks:bang:
THat doesn't sound like the same game that I played, I enjoyed everything about it, and the control system was brilliant for me, adding in her nice panting every now and then, it was a winner.
I expected more from the game. more bosses and i can only remember the end boss. and what about the puzzles ? I think my cat could solve them as well tbh. but my mistake was i tried to compare it to uncharted which was not really fair.
Pre-ordered it and was worth it! Won't be doing the same for Rise of Tomb Raider. Won't be buying it at all.
