Depends, it ran ok here and im still playing it in dx12, same cpu as you but @ 4.6GHz.

higher cpu OC and ram at 2400mhz helps a lot.

It helps more if you have have higher number of cores and threads.

To clarify, do you mean the Rise or Shadow?

    I've considered overclocking, sure.

It may, but in dx12 it runs great. Benchmark in geothermal valley runs over 90fps? Idk need to test again but i didnt have any issues there or that russian hq.

    I was gpu limited anyway.

Ah,. forget that minimum fps, it's bugged by FS optimization and frames to render ahead.. it's not a real real indicator - that part is still texture streaming buffering.

Some drivers do it faster then other.. Imo the only number you should look is avg fps by each level.

some older drivers, idk I think still in 39x.xx area

    vs newer or later..

    or now

The best scenario for me was ingame exclusive FS ingame, dx12 and in driver profile 2 frames to render ahead (nvinspector), prefer max perf., threaded opt.-on, fastsync and fps cap - for gaming later.
