Please resize your pics mate..max 1280x1024 only. Here's mine at 1080p, ultimate setting. GPUs at 1200/1600.
Here's mine done on the rig in my profile, CPU @4.5ghz, GPU's @1080/1450 @1920x1200: Ultimate preset Ultimate + 4xSSAA Edit: Here's one from my FX8350 @4.45ghz + 2x GTX670 rig @1080P Ultimate preset And this one's from my X9650 @3.66ghz + HD6990 rig @ 1080P Ultimate preset Seems like a HD6990 can hang with a pair of GTX670's in this game....
Benchmark with 314.09 drivers. DOF disabled in all tests because I never play with it on. Ultra settings (TressFX enabled, Tessellation enabled) - 21 fps Ultra settings (TressFX disabled, Tessellation enabled) - 51 fps Ultra settings (TressFX disabled, Tessellation disabled) - 51 fps Ultra settings (TressFX disabled, Tessellation enabled, SSAO Normal) - 110 fps Huge gain turning off TressFX. It looks a little uncanny valley to me so it's not worth the huge fps drop. In the benchmark the hair shadows look annoying and Lara's hair doesn't even move in the same direction the wind is blowing! Interesting that Tessellation made practically no impact on the fps. I couldn't even tell the difference IQ-wise so something's amiss here. Biggest surprise: switching SSAO from Ultra to Normal more than doubled the fps. I have AO set to High quality in Inspector so I'll have to disable it there and re-test.

All maxed, @1080p, tressFX off, FXAA, Anisotropic x16 Had to take a pic with my phone, since print screen would take a black screenshot :/ EDIT: I find the game very satisfying and I like the story so far, a really good purchase. I also found out if you turn X2 or X4 SSAA that the ingame cutscenes are just blank black screens so I had to set that to FXAA in order to see the cutscenes, and its working normally now.
The patch for the game did improve min framerate, this is my run at Ultimate preset @5760x1200, CPU @4.5ghz and GPU's @1080/1450

Here are some comparison values for those with older computers considering a new GPU. Tomb Raider build 1.0.718.4 built-in benchmark,Windows 7 x64, Intel Q9300 @ 3GHz,Sapphire Radeon 7870 XT,1680x1050 Quality, Min, Max, Avg Normal, 102.0, 160.0, 139.2 High, 80.0, 114.0, 98.2 Ultra, 54.0, 78.0, 67.3 Ultimate, 33.9, 56.0, 45.3
I managed to get the following result: 1080p ,max. settings + TFX / FXAA max ~60 (vsync on) avg. ~ 48fps my7870XT @1175/1500mhz (start getting artefacts when raising to 1200mhz+) But BF3 runs perfect with 1200mhz.
I noticed this game unlike some of EA's games, is less cpu intensive. I noticed your CPU specs (nice) oppsed to my OLD rig and getting similar results. I think i can burn games like this and future game for a while longer on my old P5e3 motherboard.

Drivers: 314.21 (latest patch) Ultimate settings @1080p (4xSSAA + SweetFX, Shadows=Ultra, DOF=disabled, TressFX=disabled, SSAO=Ultra) Min: 31.1 Ave: 52.5 Max: 41.1 Ultimate settings @1080p (4xSSAA + SweetFX, Shadows=Ultra, DOF=disabled, TressFX=disabled, SSAO=Normal) Min: 60 Avg: 126 Max: 90.5 SSAO on Ultra still cuts the fps in half. TressFX now looks better but turns the benchmark into a slideshow. Ultra shadows looks nice with little cost to avg fps. However, my min and max fps have gone down 30% and 15% respectively from 314.09 driver and pre-patch.
with my playable settings(tressfx and hp off, dof and ssao normal) new driver slightly helped with a 7% increase overall.. with ultimate settings, nearly a 30% bump!
