I'm using 175.16 WHQL and they are very stable and performance isn't bad either. I tried NVIDIA's latest drivers as 177.40, 177.41, 177.35 but i got some BSOD's from them. Actually 177.41 gave me an BSOD "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" which i think it's more common for the system RAM, which isn't defective because i tested it today with Memtest and found no errors whatsoever.

Yup, for my GTS 175.16 works best. Best of all, it's damn stable.

Personally, I'm using the 177.41's and have had absolutely no problems with them. I also gained almost 1400 points in vantage to boot. Gaming seems fine, but I've never really had a problem prior, so I don't monitor my fps in game.

I would try any of the latest drivers to see how it works in your particular scenario.

I'm using 175.80 without any issues, except spme ocasional stuttering in GRID.

I'm installing 177.41 WHQL with modded inf just to try them.

But please don't try 175.16 WHQL by any means. That particular set cause many headaches with some newer games like Gears of War and Crysis. I couldn't even play GoW.

Try the latest WHQL for 8000 series and them move up to test your games.

175.16 WHQL works well for me both in XP32 and Vista32 flavors.

Whatever drivers you choose just stay away from 175.19 as there is a major and unexpected drop in performance in comparison with the 175.16

settings all high except shadows to medium @ 1280x1024.. lol couldn't complain :), but i know crysis is a gpu hog, and i don't really take it for granted...
all other games run great even better i think; FEAR combat, Grid, Dirt, Hellgate london, UT3, Q4, COD4, Assasins creed, TF2, X3, well i have these installed atm and couldn't complain about anything ^^

great job nitroblue! thank you. i installed your modded vista32 177.41 driver from the other thread and it is my new favorite driver. works like a charm. i suggest all curious G80 owners at least give it a try.
