That's an interesting band John. Job For A Cowboy - Nourishment Through Bloodshed http://youtu.be/1luhE5V_e6Q
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyw8qB7kvHc At The Gates - Cold Hard to believe the song is from the early 90's, considering metal/deathcore bands still rip the MDM style today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gi1-vpnfUQ0 In Flames - Embody the Invisible dat MDM. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HEUUBK-KGE Parkway Drive - Siren's Song First and one of the only bands to get me to listen to metalcore. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1slq_FwRN8o Deep Purple - Child in Time The single metal song I listen to pre-90's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp4iBqVSRIQ Engel - Question Your Place Bit of MDM/Industrial/Metalcore fused into one with some dubstep wobbles squeezed here and there.
CronoGraal - I'm kinda diggin Engel. That's the better way to fuse dub wobbles into metal with the Industrial Metal style. I've heard some bands already that just throw in a dubstep breakdown and it just sounds like pop music. Ready Set Fall, although they only have a few songs, what they have so far is great. Skycrapers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaVj50B2W-E Buried Alive - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VxradHqKfY Tidal Waves Could Save The World http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7vHhqdM5S0
Nice find. Again, I was never really into metalcore because I thought the vocals were far too whiney but after around 2010 I started to run into metalcore that had solid sound and much less whine. Been giving it a chance along with some deathcore.
For metalcore that doesn't sound like a girl singing, you could check out these bands. Walking With Strangers - Dead Hands http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1RRJmf5lhM Walking With Strangers - Legends http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dj6d8YHVC6I Great band and newest album is good. Feed Her To The Sharks - Misery http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-k7L-lr6UE Their first album rocks. I think they are still unsigned and second album should be out this year. All That Remains - Not Alone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnDEFyV88Qs Their old stuff is better. As I Lay Dying - Through Struggle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdSj0hMtmNs Again, their old stuff is much better. The Sorrow - Crossing Jordan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqfUCgk361c Although they are a great band, all their songs are about the death of a loved one, which can be a buzzkill War Of Ages - Collapse http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFIbAeV_cas Great band

Japanese metal in English. Lots of bands like these are popping up over there. Some speak good English, and some are laughable. This is of the better ones. EACH OF THE DAYS - Scarface http://youtu.be/5Vdebwk9ATw Here's another band in English, but barely understandable. It's still good though. WOW! I totally loved this band! The bass player Dan Lilker, along with Billy Milano. Scott Ian and Charlie Benante (of Anthrax) as well formed this great band... S.O.D. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3O3XUn44ez0&feature=related Here's a band that started up in 1980ish in my hometown of Calgary. Not by the name of BP to start with, but a HUGE part of our scene. Even was invited to tour with the Melvins back in the day. They opened for COC, Suicidal Tendencies, Circle Jerks, Descendents and more. Being that SNFU was up in Edmonton, it seemed liked they opened up for them almost every second week. The days of paying $5 for a gig at a community hall with 3 to 6 bands are long gone but my old ass still remembers those times like they were yesterday. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present...
