Ha, that didn't take long.. oh well, doubt I'm missing much!

 

I wouldn't worry too much.

It's not all that tbh.

Bots in it are not very good. And a small amount of players.

Gunplay is very cod.

Doesn't look good either and once a few titans are in the game, it slows down alot on both xboxone and PC. Even though source has been updated to dx11, there's no tessellation and the textures are poor.

I'm sure it'll find it's crowd, but the game has been overhyped.

There are much better games.

BF4 is one of them.

 

Titanfall is the bastard child of COD and Battlefield 2142

 

Titanfail is CoD with a suit of armour. The handling is just as static as previous CoD games. Oh and ZERO destruction as all CoD games have, nothing dynamic. Not sure why you'd need a 64bit OS for this one, it's not like theres anything complex to this game. Oh well, it was nice to hope for a bit..

 

If you would actually know about programming you'd know you need to support two different project configurations if you want both 32 and 64 bit executables.
So basically: It's easier to support just 64-bit.

Cant be any worse than BF4, tbh i reckon COD is better than BF atm and that is taking the piss.

 

C'ant say i'm really impressed so far. For one the gfx are really bad. I'm not a gfx whore by any means but still for a 60$ game ...

The game is really fun. But the grunts are way way way too dumb. I'll wait to see how much content the final game will have but the beta got repetitive really really quickly.

In a world where you can play games like TF2, Dota2, PoE, Planetside 2 etc for free i think Titanfall gonna be a hard sell outside of the usual MS/CoD fans.

I'll probably grab it when it'll be 40$ and less if people are still playing it.

I had big hopes for this, but disappointment is all i can feel for this.

I like the comment about the COD/2142 lovechild... too bad BF 2142 is also 2142 times better than this repetitive load of bull semen.

 

You're not, the training levels are more fun than the game

 

It's true. This would make an interesting single player game but that's about it.

 

Just had a few games on my second rig

main specs:
Q6600 G0 @ 3.6GHz
4GB 1066MHz RAM
AMD HD7770 2GB

It plays at 60fps all the time with everything cranked up to max settings at 1280x720 and it only dips to low 40's when running at 1080p (both I set only 2xmsaa).

Pretty well optimized, just a shame the graphics are totally abysmal and gameplay gets boring quite quickly.

 

The only notable thing about this title is the parkour elements. Being able to run and climb just like Mirror's Edge is a neat touch.
