Oooooh good call guys. Will check this out. Wanted to play this for ages but something always came up.
20 hours, really? That's a lot for a FPS campaign. I was under the impression it wasn't longer than your average CoD campaign (but still good). Less than 10 EUR on Steam atm so will buy I think. Even if it needs Origin still but nothing new there... damn, I haven't had Origin installed since I played BF1 for a while at release.
This was one of the first games i got on the XBX because it was 4k and to try out on my new 4k tv, and my jaw dropped when i saw the visuals, but even better was the fantastic single player camp, really was very enjoyable, of course i only paid £5 at the time but still the single player story was great......online you might be lucky with all the new players buying it on steam and actually get a game and some kills to progress, but those will slowly disappear as the high level players who never stopped playing just chase everyone away again as the did already to the game....and that was on console, so i can't imagine what the game will be like on PC with the added cherry on top of those using online cheats, if it is anything like all the cheaters in the BF games then steer clear. lol
Yeah, it is definitely not 20 hours. It's around 6 hours. It's a relatively short campaign, but it's a great one. It offers up a lot of variety and interesting locations/experiences in that time. For it's current price on Steam, it's an easy recommendation and buy.
Ok maybe nowhere near 20 hours, but I play games kind of slow so just my idea of how long it lasted. So yeah, 6 to 8 hours. Jumped on MP today and when we usually had 1000 to 2500ish players there was 13,000 on today!
I'm only like 4-5 hours into the campaign, but the thing that's really standing out is just how fluid and smooth the gameplay is. It can be an intense shooter at times, but never feel overwhelming. You always feel like you're in control of the situation and I like that.
EA Access basic is only 99 cents right now, at first i wanted it on steam but this is much cheaper and i probably won't be playing it after a month.
Simple question, i`ve just bought this game on sale but i can`t seem to use AMD`s Super Virtual resolution on it, i`m doing something wrong or the game can`t use this?
I was able to get it to work. Enabled it driver side for the game and then dropped resolution and it activated. I was running in fullscreen when I tested.
Same price on EA app. And because this requires EA app anyway, might as well buy there to avoid being dependent on 2 launchers rather than just 1.
I stopped counting apps a long time ago, whatever works. The EA app starts in the background and closes when you quit when played thru Steam, I don't even know it's there.
