Personally I'd wait for a credible sources to test it themselves, after all it's available now.

There are some benches floating around the web now about which we can speculate all we want, however as long as there's 0 solid confirmation they will remain just that - speculations.

The problem is those are not their own benchmarks.. From the article "We say "unofficial" because there is always the chance these benchmarks are fake.

$3000 dollars? WTF is Nvidia thinking? I know it's not a card for the average PC gamer, so who knows what the hell Nvidia is planning for the consumer market next year.

This is not a card targeted at any PC games.

That's a interesting rig there, server board I guess with 2x CPU slots ha ha. Impressive. :)
Guessing it's for a bit more than just gaming too.

Hopefully the Titan's aren't too throttled either by being that close to one another but I guess the open case allows for good airflow.

EDIT: Well I'm being dumb, must be for a lot of different types of work since the GPU's don't do traditional SLI and there' no NVLink bridges either so one GPU can be used for gaming while the other three handle different workloads.

    Clearly more than just gaming.

The Titans V aren’t throttled since they stay cool
Since last Friday nights build I have removed the back plates to all four cards and they have a lot more air and the gap for air is also larger, also the backplate is thin and cosmetic with a plastic inner liner. The back plates if anything are insulators and retain the heat

The titan v does well on games, but the main purpose of the rig is research, medical imaging and nuc med.

It (Titan V) does games better than any card I’ve had, but I would seriously discourage anyone buy it for games. The price is stupid high just for. 20-40% increase over the Titan XP and 1080ti

For gaming and work this was my prior rig:

    Benches are coming

I’ve been busy. This whole “working for a living” this keeps getting in the way ;)

Also I’ve had to do a few clean installs and just now I’m back where I was

    The problem:
I was using happily win server 2012 data center and dodging win 10

Well these cards only have drivers on 3 OSs: Windows 7, Windows 10 and Ubuntu

So PAINFULLY... I moved to Windows server 2016 data center

If only there was a guide, I searched

But all I found was sparse solutions to large MS unanswered request from many people. Example, failed appid {67813 etc etc etc} didn’t have permission.... lots of that and edit DCOM

In telemetry - voodoo! The boys in Redmond are going all out.... so much to learn, so much misinformation

    And so forth

I started with the usual set up of 2016 DRB as a workstation and moved all the way through all the little red Xsin event viewer- one by one solving each one, then the same in event viewer for applications etc

Then all the crap with connected devices platform, user experience, and more

Then came the Windows Update (you know: “who does number two work for? AP)
So gaining control of WU and making run only when I want and only download / install what I want etc

    It goes on and on

Then there was their imbedded virus/sabotage device:
    Reproducible 100% (8 reloads worth):
Mess with telemetry the right way and windows update, and the shellhost destroys the desktop/start button
When you lose the start button, none of the recommended MS fix actually resolves anything. reload at that point

Solution was to prevent the 1-2-3 trigger, but finally figured it out

It took me 4 days (between work wife kids toys etc) to get it fast smooth and make it feel like it should

I made a base load with only ms OS, ms apps, and ms updates. Didn’t mess with anything , made a perfect base clone disk and every single time I lost the start button I sent back to my base restore/clone disk and tried a different path to solve

    Eventually got there

    I WISH there was guide!
I did keep a decent copy pasted notepad so maybe when I get time I’ll clean it up and share

    So

    Benchmarks are coming

Some fun things I was able to do in the meantime on the titan v’s :
Finished wolfenstein new colossus and the old blood
    Finished Echo
    Finished titanfall2
    Finished a few other games

Got amazing performance on wolfenstein new colossus pre-patched

    Anyhow

    Benches are coming

I appreciate all the work you have done in trying to formulate some guide to complete the process with this. I would be thankful if you could actually post the guide as I might be interested in doing something similar in the future and as much pain and time as it seems it took you in this matter I would be very appreciative of an easier way. Thanks again and great looking PC btw.

Venturi, when you have time, can you take pictures of your machine more vertically aligned showing left and rights sides on a cleaner background?

Basically the 3rd shot angle, but also for the front also with the glass removed and line up your camera so it is vertically aligned showing both CPU and 4x Titans.

I want to use it as my wallpaper! :D
