Hi guys I've searched around for some kinda comparison between my 5970 and the 680gtx but no luck. Probably because of the generation gap, however I do want to find out what performance increase I would get on my system. Anyone have any idea?

680-- faster, double vram, less power, single gpu, physics, cuda, look at the guru 3d 680 review there are some 5970`s in there

Make sure you feed it properly by cranking up that OC on your CPU.

I'm going to make the point that I just stepped up from a HD5970, and the difference was well worth it. Games like BF3, Skyrim, Sants Row the Third all showed a massive improvement using the GTX680. I dare say, in some cases, the difference in performance is almost two fold.
