I have a choice to get one of the 2 listed cards... I only have an Athlon T-bird 1200mhz with 512mb PC133 ram, W98se and was wondering which one would be my best choice...I just basically play sports & racing games.... thanks

    ASUS V9280TD GeForce4 4200-8X 128MB DDR
    MSI GeForce4 Ti4200-VTD8X 128MB DDR VIVO

check out this review. i know that it doesn't include 8x cards, but still gives you an idea on the companies qualities and reputation.

personally, i'd have to steer you towards the msi card. i bought the 128mb msi card in the said review and have been very pleased..

Sigh, if you do go Nvidia, choose the MSI over the ASUS. MSI was one of Nvidia's biggest manufacturers of the GeForce line of graphics cards.
