or maybe a new source engine for Hl ep 3 #1 Portal 2 #2 New source engine + CSS 2.0 #3 HL EP 3 with the new source engine
ROFL!!! It will be Team Fortress 3, which will have a development time of 10 years. Of course they want TF3 to become cartoony at first, but it will be made realistic in the end.
I think there will not be an episode 3, rather then that, there will be a whole new approach to the source engine, making it next gen, and then make half life 3 on it, continuing the story from episode 2
1. Gordon Freeman dies at the beggining of HL:Ep3 2. They are giving up on PC games and Steam will stop existing 3. Alex Vance is a shemale But on more serious note i think it will be 1. Obviously Portal 2 2. something to do with TF or CS 3. There wont be HL:Ep3,but HL3 with complety new Source engine that will put Crysis graphics to shame.

Guys, think logically. They're updating Counter-Strike: Source to the latest Source Engine right now, they have been for a few months...you can even download the beta... Why would they go through such a thing if they planned on CS2?
You guys are forgetting: Valve is working on a DOTA style game. They have people working on another game called The Crossing which as far as we know on hold at the moment, but we'll see how that turns out. Episode 3 could turn out to be a massive game as it could be the last of the Half-Life title. It's already been said the episodes are Half-Life 3, and Episode 3 is the last of the episodes. Who knows, maybe that's how they'll end it off? Then you got whatever else they might be doing. I just really don't think they're 100% worried about the games already out such as TF2, CSS and DOD:S. Ones been updated (CSS), one doesn't really need updates (DOD:S) and one gets updates all the time (TF2) to ensure us to not be sad when there's no new news on them. They have other things in store for us. Hopefully new titles and a new engine technology. (Updated mod tools would be awesome. Hammer could use an update. Source video editor being released would be awesome too.)
Ep3, Opposing force 2 and blue shift 2 well i can dream cant i, find it ironic how valve still aint done anything with Opposing force considering how well it was received and is still popular, although gabe did state he would like to bring back Shepard http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1823240&postcount=1
The news is that Blizzard de-merged with Activision and has merged with Blizzard, forming Valvizzard, or...Blizzalve, or... Valve-Blizzard Whatever.
Well I'd assume that one of those is the project Icefrog is working on with them. And I wouldn't doubt that a new CS is in the works, considering 1.6/Source are the often the two most played games on steam week after week.
