First I know this should be in the motherboards section but I didnt want to choose either Intel or AMD since ASRock makes both and I will probably get more hits here.

Second, Ive read the general thoughts on ASRock in other forums but most of them are 2002-2007 threads and very few from recent times.

I just wanted to get an updated status of ASRocks current reputation on the market. I know theyre a lower end division of Asus and for the most part work. Anything else to add? Thanks.

This is going to be used for a VERY budget 1156 gaming build with no plans of Crossfire in the future. Ive actually already received the board (H55M-LE). Just want some comforting since I usually go high end.

Happy with my asrock 770, does everything I need. I was looking for a budget board and this fit the bill. 59 dollars US for the board with ddr 3 support and that was a over a year ago.

ASRock is a budget board under Asus. It's a decent brand.
