Well it says in 3D but I don't want to watch the damn thing in 3D... will it be available in 2D when it hits theaters is what I want to know. I pretty much had to pay the extra to watch the Green Hornet when I went to see it and pretty much felt the 3D part was a waste of money.
Let me put it another way: I don't like magic superheroes. I tend to like more "realistic" heroes like Batman or Iron Man.
I used to collect Thor comics many moons ago, and this actually looks like a decent attempt at bringing the old thunder god to life.
*yawn* Another superhero movie. Big on CGI, short on plot. Big on effects, short on acting. Another cheap DVD purchase sometime in the future. This film will be lucky if a I grace it with a cup of tea and ginger nut!
The film shows promise. I just find it unacceptable that stupid chicks should be able to taze a guy just because he's "freaking them out". That should be treated like assault. Just another example of how violence perpetrated by women against men is trivialized and even advertised. [/end rant]
It has nothing to do with that. It first shows to "Thor" that he is now a mortal, and it also serves as comedic irony...you know he is being knocked out by a taser and a taser is "lightning"...
That's exactly what I was saying. It's being treated as comedy. Imagine how the audience would react if Thor had hammered her back in the head and everybody chuckled. Double standards.
Wow... you judged plot and acting off of a trailer. Colour me skeptical but it sounds like you would have made the same comment with or without see any footage of the movie.
