So, I've a spare room which just begs to be used for VR.
I'm looking into building a dedicated VR pc in there so I won't need to move my PC ( it's ooold and needs renewing anyway, but still does pretty good ).

Here lies the problem: Not that many VR titles for benchmarking available.
    Hopefully someone will benchmark Alyx.

How well does VR scale with cores, memory and their speed?
GPU is quite simple: I'll get the best I can afford.
Basically, I'm looking for scaling behaviour common in VR titles.

Once I have these specs, I'll build a sound optimised case and components around it, because I'm lusting for these nice Index ear speakers.

    Muh immurshun!

I did the same thing when i bought my house last summer. I went in there the 1st time and was like: ok PC / VR room on the left, music studio in the middle and kitchen & living room / movie theater on the right. Perfect! :D

Had a very small pc room in my former apartment and i constantly bumped into things when testing the Vive. So i forced myself to wait with ordering a helmet until i had a house one day. Well, it's finally happening. Just got the Valve Index.

Index is ordered, am awaiting my shipping email ( still 8+ weeks away )

I've decided to switch the idea around: Gaming PC in the VR room and simple office PC in the office.
This way, me and my spouse don't out-shout each other when playing multiplayer and being on Discord :p

Ohyeah, they're on the list ^^. But first I'll need t try VR in the actual room. I'll probably change the setup a few times, so I'll wait a bit :)
