I haven't publicly released anything for Skyrim, mostly just personal tweaks and changes for compatibility so everything works. Tons of available mods which is cool, but hard to say what really conflicts with what. Took some real tinkering to get the game to run properly while heavily modded.

For FFVII you can find me on Qhimm. I participate in a few different projects so I'm all over, but my own mods are available here -> http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=14852.0

Most recent project is Wolfman's Werewolf Red XIII-> http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=15287.msg217575#msg217575

    EDIT:
Issue solved. For some reason the patch data is overwritten into something about 17MB big, re-copying the mod data solves the issue

    ORIGINAL POST BELOW:

Hello, I'm new here, hoping that I can get help, the car headlights don't seem to cast shadows in my game.

I've been searching for possible answers with keywords "watch dogs", "headlight", "shadow" and "not working" but all that I get is news about this mod enabling that or flickering issues, while in my game it doesn't show up at all.

I'm using version 1.0 without Maldo Textures. After I installed the mod I unknowingly changed the graphics settings in-game. Previously I was in High preset with Motion Blur and Depth of Field off, so I changed it to Ultra preset (still with Motion Blur and Depth of Field off) and the mod stopped working, so I:
    1. Backed up my GamerProfile.xml (by renaming it to something else)
    2. Deleted GamerProfile.xml
    3. Started the game to regenerate GamerProfile.xml
    4. Opened the new and old GamerProfile.xml in Notepad++
    5. Copied the contents of my old GamerProfile.xml to the new one and saved it

The mod seems to work again, the indicator being Aiden's coat is visibly wet in the rain, along with the roads. I do not know whether they're originally in-game or not, but during the short time I noticed that the mod doesn't seem to work, the roads and Aiden's coat are not wet during rain

In any case, I wish to have the headlight shadow, but I don't know whether it's due to my graphics settings or something else. In my GamerProfile.xml there is an entry called "CustomQuality" which I assume is the values of my custom preset

    My current in-game settings:

    • V-Sync : Off
    • Textures : High
    • Anti-Aliasing : Temporal SMAA
    • Level of Detail : Ultra
    • Shadows : Ultra
    • Reflections : Ultra
    • Ambient Occlusion : MHBAO
    • Motion Blur : Off
    • Depth of Field: Off
    • Water : Ultra
    • Shader : High

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks, yup that's it.

Nope, new patch works fine with the mod. Granted it doesn't seem like they really added much to the actual patch file, they must have installed more files else where.

Nice mod but why is there so much haze/fog?

    It's Chicago - not LA ;)

Seriously though, is there any way to get rid of the fog and keep the rest of the mod?

Yes, use the updated modes on my Steam thread and select Minimal Fog.

Hey cmh175, I downloaded your configurable version today and installed it, yet it doesn't show the new patch version on the main menu as it shows the previous patch version. Any ideas?

Not something I noticed. As long as the mod installer is installing to the correct place it'll work fine. As for the patch version, I basically unzipped the new patch and just copied it in to the mod. I cant say as to what they did or changed.

Check your data_64 folder and make sure the mod installed, the proprieties will tell you when it was last modified.
