If you area forza fan i can only suggest you grab a copy of the first forza Horizon game, you can still grab a disc version, and try some of the xbox 360 4k enhanced, looks spectacular on the X, as does the original crack down, of course i am somewhat biased as my digital xbox 360 library is almost all on the XBX via BC, so if you have any xbox 360 games, retail of digital, check them out. :)

I would not know where to start with these games, so many, i have that Lost Oddesey on the XBX and it's on 3,4 discs, and i think i got up to the third disc a few years before i was wishing it would just end, never got around to ever finishing it. Lol

Hmm, i don't know, i don't sit that far away, i think the farthest i am from my 55in 5k tv is about 7/8 feet, and it looks fantastic, you can tell 4k and HDR no problem, and as i type this i am using a 43in 4k tv a pc monitor these days and that must be about 3 feet from me, but 13 feet though i don't know, i suppose it would also have to take into account your eyes, if you wear glasses, and checking that list it says that 55in 4k is optimial at under 4 feet, well optimal or not, i can quite clearly see i am enjoying 4k in media and gaming, gaming moreso i would say.

But i would say if you have any big retailers near you pop and and see thier 4k tv's on display, that i exactly what is did before i bought my first 4k tv back in 2016, cheapest and sure fire method to answer all your questions. ;)

^^^Well, if we went by that Forbes article 8k would mean you would need to sit behind the TV. lol

Wow. That's just...who would sit that close?! Lol. I sit about 6.5 feet away and feel I'm slightly too close already. Time to push the couch up.

It is weird a 55 at 3.7 ft is where you can see the optimal benefit of 4k, the further away you sit lessons, just sit where you like.

That is the problem with articles like this, i mean on the very same site another article on the optimal viewing distance for a 55in 4k tv starts at around 3.7 feet and going all the way up to 7 feet.

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/kevinm...sit-from-the-screen-is-critical/#27bc57341801

But at the end of the day it is what suits you personally as not all our eyes are the same and neither are our surroundings, personally the multi channel video wall from BTTF 2 can't come quick enough. Lol

Exactly I sit 13ft away and the image quality and input lag for gaming is fantastic, probably when I get a new tv it will have to be 4k but the pixel density wont make any difference I will just look for image quality input lag ect also I don't like curved screens.

After becoming sick of this thead with all you guys sharing awesome stuff about the XB1X ;), I got myself a little present. My XB1X will arrive tomorrow and got it for a fairly good deal with Forza 4 and Motorsport 7 for like €350. Since I already have a quite large collection of classic and 360 games I won't be bored. I'm quite interested how Oblivion or the Mass Effect Trilogy will look on this.

I feel like a little kid again. I should've opted for wrapping it.

Oblivion got a XBX patch some time ago and it is glorious, you are in for a treat with that, plus F4 and FM7 are also fantastic, and your xbox 360 library will be coming with you, i am about 11 xbox 360 games short of my entire 360 digital library being bc on the xbx, i have about 140 plus of 360 digital games and that is without counting physical discs. Lol

Oh and you will no doubt get a free months gamepass so grab State of decay 1 and 2, they are cracking, plus sunset overdrive, Gears 4 and Gears ultimate, Halo chief collection, Recore, Sea of thieves, Rare reply is also required by law to own if you got a Xbox one, and there are plenty of 4k enhanced games....that little lot should keep you busy for a while. Lol

Oh yeah, I have so much to play. I still have my classic Xbox and loads of games (Morrowind GOTY!!) and found a bag with loads of X360 games from my gf. Sea of Thieves and Recore are on my to do list.

As stated earlier, too bad the PS4 pro doesn't have any BC. I would gladly ditch my fat PS3 60GB.

    BTW, sticky this thread pls.
