That does look rather weird haha! Agree in-game Geralt should never be changed!

Defo need to go back after Red Dead, base game + DLC + death march. Just need to try different build this time

Eh, I have seen this mod on the Nexus, I believe, and yeah. It's not bad per se, but the face looks uncanny and weird on game Geralt's body...

    god thats creepy. :p

book geralt is supposed to be kinda ugly also, cavil is WAY too pretty as is game geralt outside the first game maybe where he was more mutanted up, seems he got prettier himself as the games went on.

if anytihing the mods that make geralt more freakish and evil looking are probably more accurate.

I don't agree with everything (especially Jaskier!) but this is a pretty fair summary:

The Critical Drinker is a great channel to follow if you're interested in narrative form, he's usually pretty spot on. His GoT season 8 reviews are epic (both in content, and humour :) -- you'll see what I mean)

That face swap mod is not very good LOL. I personally prefer the OG Geralt.

I just needed a reason to pick up the game again really, still haven't finished it despite starting it over 4 times now.

Are you starting over because you are losing your save files?

If that's the case save file location should be in Documents\The Witcher 3

Although.... I have the GOG version, not sure if Steam is the same.

Holding up well even after a few years and compared to even some newer games in regards to lighting and physically based shading and rendering. :)
Impressive what the modding community is doing too even with the limited tools initially available but then simply expanded upon and built into more complex utilities and allowing for even more changes to the game.

Going through it again though would mean I'd want to do it fully so that means the entire trilogy and that's quite a undertaking especially the first game even if it has it's moments.

And the many changes of Geralt throughout the trilogy now. :D

He did reasonably well as a PT too in between monster hunting and the events of the book(s) and games, sadly the rotund one in the video couldn't quite run fast enough.

(Actual history is a bit different though.)

EDIT: First game had quite a varied bestiary too though it lead to some enemies being used a ton and others barely at all. (Oh look, more drowners!)

Eventually though it'd lead to Heart of Stone again and lovely characters such as Olgier and Gaunter plus Toussaint could have almost been a stand-alone game in terms of content and size.

Just need to go through the country of Prologue and the province of White Orchard and the fun that is the No Man's Land ha ha well plenty to do and see in the base game too even before deciding to nope it out and head to more pleasant areas like Skellige.
(It's a bird or a fish or maybe both and it's eating the boat! ... aside from those things that is.)

EDIT: Well props to the developers at least combining a mer creature with a seagull of all things to make every sea faring adventurer outright hate/dread the thing there was no real need but they sure went the extra mile there.

Alex revisits the astonishing The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Think you can run it maxed at 1080p60 on a mainstream gaming? Well, let's talk cinematic depth of field and ubersampling...

Thanks to the Netflix series, I've burned my way through Witcher 1 & 2 and am almost level 17 in Witcher 3 (not touched Skellige yet and already 60 hours in). The Witcher games are like crack, so moreish!
