without any aa, blur nor dof maybe I could do 60fps on an uber OCed 880 with 760 physx card. though you may be right, ...
If I get this it's def new gpu time I feel...(might try the 580 as a physxcard). p.s anyone know if you could run a 580 as a physx with a waterblock on to passively cool it?
It's not going to happen, as there will be not enough heat exchange. Just add the sucker to the regular loop.
or put back on the orig fan...(well will see which is easiest to test...i.e to add the 580 to the loop...or just use stock fan...mmm have to give this some thought. I'll have to redo the loop for the 880/880ti anyways. but my physx experience hasnt been impressive to boot). sry offtopic
True, gameplay felt a little console like. Hopefully it will be improved. I may upgrage my gpu just for this game.
On my part, I am DEFINITELY upgrading my GPU for this game. I didn't mind gameplay in Witcher 2.. it was improved over 1, which in itself was needed. So long as its the same or a bit better, I will be happy. The size and scope of the game being so much bigger is going to be amazing on its own.
Take the combat system from dark souls, shove it into the Witcher and you'd probably have the best game ever As it is Witcher 2 combat mod makes the combat far more tolerable, and even at its worst the combat system is merely somewhat annoying (Possibly the poor combat system actually made me enjoy the story more, but that's a little out there)
