The Witcher 3 tweak thread

Hey Guys,
Because I still use my good old Gtx 680 and I really wanted to play on Ultra FoliageScale I looked into the User.cfg. and tweaked it a little bit up and down.
High is 1.0, Ultra is 1.8 and looks so much better but has a huge impact on performance. So I lowered the value by 0.1, step by step, and finally stayed at 1.2. For me it looks exactly like Ultra on Screenshots and I can´t really see any difference but I got an 8 FPS boost in average.
Can you explain this? I mean, I´m really happy with that, but it´s strange for me. What exactly is worse now that I lowered 1.8 to 1.2 in the Foliage Distance Scale?
Btw. If you have a Gtx 680 or Gtx 770 and wanna use Ultra Foliage too, you might try this out too.
