Keep in mind that the video is captured at 60fps, but the game is running at 30fps.
It's in the description of the download, and if you go frame-by-frame they are just duplicated.
What a pointless waste of bandwidth.
It does explain why it looked judery though, I just thought it wasn't a stable 60.
then it's a console version..xbox one 900p upscale to 1080p...anyhow looks pretty good for a xbone version.
Or more likely the PC version is still being optimised.
An upscale is always noticeable, even a small on like 900p.
This game looks miles better then Witcher 2, like it.
Graphics wise, from what we've seen so far, it's just better, not miles better.I would describe it as The Witcher 2.5
It's definitely improved over W2; the models are far more detailed and much better animated (at least the faces). Environment graphic quality doesn't look like it has changed much, but you have to keep in mind, we're dealing with a much larger game world this time around. I'm not in any way concerned the game will not look good, at least after my system receives some much needed upgrades.
And since we're already on the subject of graphics, I believe that if you wish to create a truly atmospheric game, art design (something that can be very difficult to get just right) is a far more important area to focus on than graphics technology. I mean, take Crysis 3 for instance; it looks incredible, yet fails to invoke any emotion. Regardless, if the latest videos and screens of the W3 are anything to go by, they got that part nailed; something they failed at in the last game, especially if you take W1 into consideration, which takes place in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created in an RPG's, and sits right below Fallout and PL: Torment on my list.
I'm still at the start with Witcher 2, i don't find the graphics that good, the faces look pretty impressive though and detailed.
The bloom kills it for me, so i disabled it and now it looks a bit better.
I've seen people using ENB+SweetFX but i can't find any settings online for ENB.
Heads up anyone who picked this up as a cheap steam gift they started to region lock.
As i've played Witcher 2 and saw video's of Witcher 3, think it does look alot better but that's my opinion on that.
But we'll see when it comes out.
its just a name so people go woah, hairworks wdf is that?!
:bang:no ignore button
I feel like a kid reading Tj's physx hate constantly.
hey buddy there kids games k?
I agree. Witcher 2 is too colorful and saturated, and ends up looking rather generic as opposed to Witcher 1. It seems like they've made Witcher 3 look much more grim and real and that helps. Plus the faces look better, and so does the lighting.
Excellent Witcher 3 tech interview..
Looks like there might be a possibility that the Witcher 3 will get DX12 post release
^ Awesome of them to do that when you have all these other developers/publishers who count on making a mint off of [typically lame] DLC.
I already pre-ordered Wild Hunt on Steam months ago. CDPR deserves all the success they will get from what appears to be an amazing upcoming release.
Good news. This dev&producer deserve all the best and of course our money.
(watch and learn ubifail&actifail)
WOW Awesome.CD PROJEKT RED.
They have started bending over backwards to please the consumer and that's just fine with me. Hell I am still impressed with all the stuff I got with retail Box I bought for Witcher 2.
Looking forward to the barber shop DLC like in the witcher 2.
