HOLY SHIEEEEEEEEEEEEET! Y.E.S.!!! This news coupled with those pics made my day, hell probably my entire week!
Been excited for this for weeks now...ever since that Cyber punk trailer tease. Hope this is a next gen launch title.
All I need now is another fallout announced.
I hope the story and quality of the world doesn't suffer for this. I wasn't fond of Skyrim, awful storyline and so-so gameplay. I'd rather have a more linear game such as The Witcher 2 with high quality gameplay, storylines and voice acting.
I'm the opposite; I'd rather have an open world where I can do whatever I want whenever I want. As such, this might be the first Witcher game I ever play. :nerd:
The problem with skyrim was the main quest/quests wich were very weak. The many sidequests were great and added immersion. So if Witcher 3 manages to have a great main story and keep the huge open world it will be awesome.
I would rather they were focusing on the Cyberpunk game than just churning out a sequel like everyone else does these days.
Apart from it being the easy route, they are also a small studio so i don't think they can manage to bring out two games while keeping the quality as high as their previous games.
The Witcher 3 teaser trailer:
Maybe small but it is growing. I recall them saying they have doubled in size since witcher 2.
Thinking the same. I played Skyrim a LOT, because it is an awfully big game. That said, it is very filled with "so-so" stuff. I had hoped they would "import" many ideas from Obsidian's Fallout New Vegas which IMO did very well having in mind that they made the best out of a very bland environment compared to FO3 "fallen civilization" DC settling, which is much more interesting by itself.
Alas it wasn't meant to be and Obsidian got the short stick and Beth didn't wanted to change their TES formula even a little, instead just iterating over it for the 4th time.
I hope RED team didn't get too impressed with Skyim and just add the free roam rather than other of Beth's design decisions.
OMG..this is gonna be out of this focking world.
Looking forward to see the landscapes
Glad you people love the games, i couldnt get into it sadly.
I might like this one cause it's open world.
Or is Witcher 1 and 2 also open world?
