Heavy on CPU? Heavy on PhysX? BRING IT!
The Witcher 3 and Dark Souls II are my most anticipated games! Too bad they both don't come out until 2014.
Hopefully AC4 as well as Watch Dogs are good to hold me over until these masterpieces are released.
The Witcher 3 CG trailer
Looked awesome and I'm hyped up again, but that trailer didn't look HD. Was it just me?
afaik, its a leaked trailer :O
Also, i can imagine that its a scenario from a game, kill monster provide proof, get coin. Choice of helping the woman or not, consequences will be felt later heh
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Killing Monsters Cinematic Trailer
This one has better quality.
Nice trailer, amazing peace of work...so hyped, can't wait.
I was not interested in this game but.....he got my attention
Oh wow... an epic voice for an epic game
Leaked gameplay :
Even in this really crappy quality video, you just KNOW the graphics are a giant leap beyond Dragon Age Inquisition. Even after looking at the latest PAX video, the graphics in this leaked video is on a totally different level. Amazing.
It's funny how video says 2008.01.18
That is a personal annoyance of mine, it takes 30secs to set the time/date, not doing it makes sorting pics/videos more work than it should be.
As for this, a giant leap beyond Dragon Age Inquisition is a giant assumption, especially when it's using Frostbite which is one of the best engines around at the moment.
The video for this did look better, but the fact it's a poor quality cam video actually makes it more photo realistic, an original raw stream would likely show up alot more flaws.
^yea , right.
Let the original gameplay video come officially.
Then we'll see.
The weather effects and physics shown are on a totally different level. Did you the fire change direction in the wind? The hair/fur physics are on a different planet to Dragon Age.
The only thing going for Inquisition is a partially destructible environment. Yes, it does look better than Dragon Age 2 but that's not saying all that much. I will bet dollars to donuts that the texture resolution on the Witcher 3 is going to be much higher than on Inquisition.
A higher res video would have looked a whole lot better, not worse.
It will be a sweet year for rpg fans. Dragon age, Witcher, Dark Souls 2:banana:
Dragon Age Inquisition looks bad
- Lacks enough details
- Looks like an MMO game
- Cities look empty
- Landscape looks empty
- The dragon encounter easily reminds me of Skyrim clone, set in the sahara
The physics yes, but considering it's PhysX and likely Nvidia only i won't get too excited just yet.
I never said higher res would of looked worse, just that poor quality cam videos can make a game look photorealistic.
I so hope this is some weird sarcasm or something that I just do not get.
