Some of you guys might have seen the new Cyberpunk 2020 teaser trailer. If not here it is:

@ 2.14 in the above video someone managed to "pull" this message out:

"And that's not all that's new. We are about the reveal our other project, which is much closer to being completed, and yes it will be a fully open-world game with an intense story. You can probably guess the game we're talking about. On the 5th of February it will be all clear."

I too would rather think it's Witcher 2 DLC, since I remember them saying at one point that their next release wil be Cyberpunk and only after Witcher 3 BUT if it turns out I am wrong I will be very glad! :)

The message doesn't suggest it's Witcher 2 DLC, as they say it's something fully open world , and Witcher 2 wasn't, unless it's a expansion pack with a huge overhaul of the game.

Seems unlikely, but might be a way for them to test out new tech they have been working on.

I don't like DLC either, mostly due to the fact i uninstall a game once i've finished it, but CDP have never charged for Witcher stuff, so not sure why anyone would complain if it was just DLC

The Witcher 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I can't wait for TW3!

    Cyberpunk 2077 looks cool also.

Something that could be a image from Witcher 3 or maybe some other project of theirs.

EDIT: Ah, Red Engine 3 is announced.

CD Projekt Red already has my money for this and doesn't even know it.

One of the few remaining developers that truly cares about pleasing its customers IMO.

Too much bloom for me, it doesn't look good enough, thath snow terrain. Sun shining through clouds is ok. Second thing, close textures of terrain look flat. Still using dx9, in year 2014 if an triple AAA game wont support dx11, I wont buy it. Before someone tries to troll me, yes I know those are early stages of RED Engine 3 and I hope devs will give us best eye candy as Witcher 2 looked amazing. Still W2 could look better. And at last shadows look good.

Wouldn't say too much bloom as that is down to personal preference, but i do agree that for a 2015 game it does need alot of improving if it doesn't want to end up dated looking compared to other next gen engines.

Will always be a fan of these guys though, just hoping that they are able to stick around, their fair way of running the company makes them likely contenders for bankruptcy before Witcher 3 or the Cyberpunk game ever appears.

It's just... a photo. Anyway I too find CDProjekt to be my "new Bioware" when it comes to RPGs and the new engine is certainly good news. Personally I found TW2 visuals amazing, so what expect from REDengine 3 is dx 11 and all effects it brings with it, better physics and more open world as in bigger maps to explore.

They own GOG, which I'm sure brings in a bit of money, and they also produce games at a much cheaper rate where they're located than a similar studio would elsewhere. The Witcher 2 cost around $13 million to make, IIRC.

Which is both hilarious and brilliant, considering Dragon Age 2 cost considerably more money to make and offered so little in comparison.
