Guys i think i made the difficulty too hard and i don't have enough rations to recover my health. Like the botchling scene took me more than 1hour before i could kill it regardless of which choice i took. AFterwards while doing the blood ritual these wraiths show up and are so hard to kill even with the aard sign being used. Any tips on beating them?

 

Uh yeah, lower the difficulty.

Other than that, make sure to use oils before a fight (if you know what you're fighting) and use bombs. Make sure to attach runes to armour and weapons and get better gear if necessary.

Also level up.

Wraiths require the yrden sign pretty much, you can only really damage them in the area marked on the ground. Moon dust bombs helps.

 

Yup, Yrden sign is a must. Get accustomed to setting them and backing up so they have to come at you through the trap. Moon dust for the bigger wraiths for sure.

edit: And I would add, and no offense to scatman, but don't lower the difficulty. Struggle through it, try some different options. It's worth that sense of discovery where afterwards, you know how to beat them from now on.

 

wraiths are easy once you get experience with them, no need for ydren but quen can really help you until you learn their tactics.

Wohooo! I was wanting for something like this ever since I got into the game, storage should have been there from day 1, it was the same with Witcher 2 (after demand), no ideea why they left it out from the start here.

 

Nice updates to an already amazing game.

 

I'm lost in Skellige.

I may never leave...

 

I left it, but only to finish a quest from Skellige i Velen I think

I'm travelling freely between the two now. I've finished the main story and I'm making my way through secondary quests and witcher contracts by level. I'm actually enjoying the game more now I've completed the main quests. About 85 hours played and I have never once fast travelled (apart from back and forth from Skellige as it's necessary). I just love crossing the map to get somewhere and finding unexpected stuff on the way

 

I'm in the last stages of the game and only have 30 hours and 15 minutes played time. I haven't played in 6 days now but I will get back to it in spurts. I'm engaged with patch 6.2 of WoW now.

I did a lot of side quests but only the ones that seemed like part of the story or were needed to get cat gear plans. I finished up the Baron line, for instance, and most of the Skellige stuff although some still remains there. I only did a couple of contracts and I have avoided a lot of red stuff that chases me while travelling from place to place. I use fast travel whenever I can. I have no idea what ending I will get or even what the possibilities are and don't want to know. I have basically showed mercy when possible and tried to stay in Yennifer's good graces.

 

Damn... have not left Velen yet to go back to Skellige - got caught up in some quests there with Triss

LOVE this game - gotta do a bit here... no gotta do a bit there... no wait, gonna do something here :nerd:

Been playing with headphones lately and the sound side in this game is absolutely great

Yeah Skellige is amazing, I actually didn't expect it to be THAT big, main island alone not to mention all the smaller islands to explore, great looking and even better atmosphere. And lovely accent on the NPCs. :giggle2:

EDIT: Or not, turns out there's still no ETA for it and this was a update to the digital extras.

 

i just get a big download of 2.2 gigs of something from steam i was thinking is the patch 1.07 but i launch the game and still says is 1.06 so i don't know what for is this download, some one knows??
