Well NG+ 67 i think is the starting level for the DLCs. 30ish in normal game.

Final missions in the BaW quest are 77 atm and i got like 3 quests till the end mission from the point i rolled back to. Until they fix the crossbow aiming and i can try and win the tournament and get the sword and insane fan.

Almost level 90 just messing around filling out the map pois in novigrad already did all of tussiant other than the last couple mq missions. Avoiding skelliga still.

So if I get up to level 69 (so I can craft the legendary Viper stuff), I won't run into any quests 10 or more levels below me then?

Well not for the dlcs, but you level up fast doing the DLC missions. I would probably be 91 or 92 if i finished up BaW and i not done hardly any of HoS yet. So i would think your going to outlevel one of them before it is over.

Also of note the bonus visitation at the end of BaW, dandy, ciri, triss or yen can visit your villa. But seems to requires the main game to be completed to trigger off. Though maybe it can happen after the fact i just know after i finished BaW, skipped the tourney to see the endings there was noone at my place.

Waiting on that damn patch, though i guess i could blitz the main game quests and finish all that off before they fix the bug i need to finish Baw.

Finished the main quest finally last week at level 36 after some 110 hours of playing the game (possibly much more as I'm not convinced the in-game play time is correct). Really enjoyed the story and for once the ending did not completely suck. Felt very satisfying overall. I also completed the main Heart of Stone quest over the weekend and that was even better IMO; a really entertaining and enjoyable expansion. The wedding sequence was absolutely excellent and funny and just about every aspect of the story was fantastic. I even beat the main bad guy (trying not to spoil anything here) at the end which was just awesome.

Currently working my way through Blood and Wine at level 38 which so far seems very good. although story wise I haven't come across anything as good as Heart of Stone yet. Early days though.

On the first run through, it appears that it is level 32+ for Heart of Stone and 34+ for Blood & Wine. However, I have already come across a level 46 quest for Blood & Wine on my current (not NG+) playthrough when I am only at level 38. I am finding some of the quests tough though, due to the number of enemies (the Fallen Knights are particularly annoying in numbers), but perseverance usually gets me through in the end along with some skilled dodging and counterattacks! I admit though that I have lowered the difficulty a notch to the lowest setting on a couple of occasions to avoid frustration and while it might technically be considered cheating the game at least does not punish you for it. It can be a bit insulting though to complete what feels like a really hard quest only to received 30 Experience Points!!!

Well you can still consult the big map at any time. The whole idea is to encourage exploration and trying to work things out with the clues you get, instead of running in a straight line to your reward. You know, how games used to be before all this hand-holding came along.

It might not be for everyone but I find it's a more enjoyable, more rewarding experience.
