Tried this, no dice. Did they tweak the AA or something?

You can try to use SMAA 0.10 (sweetFX).

The game looks so good without Bloom. :)

For some reason I've never been able to get that to work with anything.

Not that I know of. Just ruling out any potential ini changes you may have made.
I suggest you check in with the official forums: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/forums/180-PC

Did so, found no posts on the subject and mine hasn't received any replies.

This really sucks hard, I want to finish Hearts of Stone and am excited to play Blood & Wine but the aliasing is killing any desire to do so.

Yeah I can see that. Don't know what to tell you. Have you double-checked your settings in control panel? Maybe you have some conflicting setting. I have read somewhere the engine doesn't work well with forced aa. Maybe something is cancelling out the in-game one.

I assume you have tried re-verify files?

The only settings I have forced in NVCP are fixed refresh (since I play this on my tv and not my Gsync monitor), anisotropic filtering 16x and high quality (as per the Nvidia tweak guide) and vsync forced on. All of these settings are the same as they were pre-1.21.

I haven't tried re-verifying the files, I don't even know how to do that. I think instead I'm just going to delete the game and reinstall it.

Just find the game on Steam, right-click and select properties. Then go to the local files tab and click on "verify integrity of game cache".

There are all sorts of random some have them others dont bugs in 1.21.

Some get crashes in specific places, me i got no crossbow after 1 shot my reticule to aim goes away and then acts like it is trying to auto shoot and cannot target anything, my horse lost its tail.

I have reverified the game multiple times trying to sort the glitches.

So who knows maybe it one of those random 1.21 things.

Ah, not sure if they have a function like that.
I have seen GOG users complain about bugs that were not present for the Steam version after a patch so maybe a re-download could solve things.

I'm playing and enjoying Blood and Wine without a single problem. To me the game looks and plays better than ever. No crashes or bugs at all. I don't use any mods and don't see a need for any. I also have the GoG version.

Well I reinstalled the game and it still looks very jaggy. Maybe this was just always how it looked and I've just gotten used to my 1440p monitor. A 4K60 capable video card can't come soon enough.

The tweak guide from Nvidia mentioned turning on the sharpening filter introduced some temporal aliasing.
"This is particularly evident on blades of grass and other fine detail."

Yeah I've never had that on because of the temporal aliasing.

Anyways, wow this game is crashing a lot more after the patch. Sometimes I'll get in an area that's like a crash hole which I'm lucky to get out of. 4K just crashes after a minute or 2 reliably. Maybe I'll just wait a while for the next patch to play this some more.
