The Witcher 3 Official Thread (Pt.2)

A lot of people are encountering a lot of crashes. But, it is random.
I have two friends on STEAM playing the game. One is encountering crashes, freezes and such constantly.
The other, not a single problem.

 

.. Right .. I actually preferred the " old " loot window and find the new one way too big. Anyone know how to change it back to being small?

 

This patch gave me another 5-6 fps with HW enabled.I now play at all ultra HBAO+ and Hairworks enabled and I hover around 40-55FPS with rare dips below 40FPS at night.

I'm quite impressed by my mobile GPU !

 

Just tried a bit and I hate how some settings reset or goes to some random.

Keybinds were resetted, some gfx settings were different.
Looting hud is too big...

 

Idk how is that possible. 980m should not be faster than desktop 970.

Ah that's what I was saying, you can't combine lesser red with a werewolf one and another monster named one to make a greater one.

 

Still has the bug that editing the file had.

Say you rebind P to open the map instead of M. P will open the map, but will not close it, M will still close it. Even if you rebound M to something else, while in a game menu (Character, Inventory, Crafting, etc etc) M is hard coded to Map. Same with all the other keys.

 

No, my question was for real! Cos i see so many people using than instead of then, thats why i asked! You see, my mother tongue issnt english, so i wanted to know whats the deal with that!

loot text is bigger now, like that, now if they could just make text in general bigger that'd be nice

Very weird seeing patches <500mb. These days we normally see the Ubi standard of 5+gb. Downloading patch now but not sure what to expect since game was running fine previously even with Hairworks on.

Can we change the horse we use?

 

No roach is special!

It's geralts actual horse, doubt we can.

You can steal other horses for a bit but there's no real reason when you can make roach teleport near you at any time

 

So Mr.Bigtime also have something to complain about the horse now?

 

So i came a cross Letho. Such a short, uninteresting, weak story. I mean he was end game boss in Witcher 2.

Anyway i helped him all the way, let's hope i'll see him around.

 

He's not the first person i've sent off to kaern morn as well, and no doubt not the last, wondering when we get to go there in the story.

 

Depends on what you chose at the end dialogue with him.

 

perf is up for me with the new patch, easily seeing it go above 50-52fps with max settings and hairworks on full with a single 290, 1080p

i think i was around 45fps before.

 

I have my predownload working... finally found the errors of my ways... This game is TOOOO big it will suck all my extra time...
