Finally beated the ****ing Keyran on hard (Witcher 2). Last time when I played years ago, I deleted because I was stuck on the QTE bug (I have to windowed the game to pass it today). But ****, I made it on hard without loosing a single HP :D

    HELL YEAH

Almost ready to launch the 3 tomorow

lol single card works much better right now, don't play with crossfire...

make sure you turn foliage distance to high as mentioned previously (for amd users or maybe nvidia too for that matter..)

(amd again) don't use ingame aa.. not sure if you should use ingame vsync either, better to force AA with something else and vsync.

oced my card to 1200 core, in crossfire worked @ 1150 before.

otherwise with single card, fps is good, getting about 40fps.

CDPR did such a poor job with the frame pacing, ruins the immersion for me. Not playing anytime soon.

I'm happy to report I fixed it! And it had nothing to do with SLI. It had to do with me enabling Vsync in the control panel. Apparently the game doesn't like that for some reason.

Enabling the in game Vsync instead fixed the problem. I should have known, as I did the entire prologue with the in game Vsync but when I got to the normal game, I switched over to the control panel version and started having problems.

I'm just glad I didn't have to reinstall Windows, since I'm on Windows 10 preview..

    Hey guys!

Anyone playing the game on an AMD CPU (FX-83XX)? How does it run?

i increased the grass/shadow values ( look sick ! ) in the player profile, 30fps locked@1440p, the game stopped crashing wtf :infinity:

and btw anyone saying that this look worse than witcher 2/skyrim is out of his mind and need a paire of glasse, i played both in theire time, while skyrim with a crapload of mods can come a little bit close, W2 is miles behind

Yep, almost definitely. Lot of SLI issues.

It also seems fairly clear that the engine heavily favors the Maxwell cards. Which maybe can also be addressed via drivers.

    nice catch.

I always do the same thing. Try to test a million things at once and forget something.

    Ini tweaks on/off

    Nvidia slider image.http://international.download.nvidi...weaks-interactive-comparison-1-on-vs-off.html

The fact that ini tweaks need to be made just to acquire the above tells you all you need to know about this console port and cdprs stance on pc gaming now.

Other than that..a nice sweetfx preset

This game has random hitching and normally I play with Vsync which just makes it even worse so I've gone with Adaptive for now. Since the game can't usually maintain 60fps for long maxed out let alone 120fps on my 120hz monitor I don't really notice tearing and it makes the experience feel more smooth until they get the hitching resolved.

Couldn't agree more. In the opening section I headed straight to the balcony and I could clearly see where the "AA" was placed as I adjusted the camera angle. It looks sub-MSAAx2 quality and actually worst than basic FXAA in my opinion. And to think this game was originally stated to have NVIDIA's TXAA which would definitely have been a nice extra. CDPR could have included FXAA and SMAA at least.

Should be getting the PS4 version today as well so I am looking forward to seeing how they compare.

Not a huge difference. Prefer the sky in the standard version.
