Yes, playing always hardest difficulty.
I thought I read 1.05 was supposed to come out today? Did I miss something?
Lol no, easy to start with
Got bored with the combat in w1 and w2, wonky.
I could probably put it back up now after 90 hours, being used to the combat now, but I get my challenge doing quests 7 levels above me
You can skip in game cutscenes you know right?
yes playing on DeathMarch.. still on my first run.. and still very early into the game
I'm only level 15 lol.. I've had game since release day.
taking my dear sweet time and loving it.. just completed the enhanced griffon gear/weapon set.
I know its crazy, I'm a little over 100 hours and just about level 22. I'm not screwing around either, constantly doing quests and trying to explore all the lands. Amazing game.
I know but the tediousness of having to skip through them over and over...no thanks. I'll stick with easy so I can enjoy the scenery and get somewhere. I'm not overly invested in the game so no big deal if I master it in the hardest difficulty.
I started it on the 3rd highest difficulty. After the first night I realized how in depth the combat was and I bumped it up and use everything at my disposal to stay alive.
I still utilize Quicksave alot.
Combat is pretty fine itself, just some small tweaking to that autolock or option to disable it and have free control.
But biggest problem to me is how sluggish and "real" movement is.
I would easily trade some bit less "realistic" movement to more responsive and accurate movement.
Sometimes its hard to even run inside buildings etc because its just so bad.
The 2 new DLC will come as well.
I'd agree. There is definitely a learning curve to movement because of the way the animations mesh with momentum. Having to predict when you will come to a full stop is not always the most enjoyable way to navigate, especially indoors.
What I dislike is the first fast attack is always the exact same movement. I would like the cuts to be more varied, and dictated on multiple factors such as distance to target, the motion (or lack thereof) of Geralt, etc.
And if there was way to choose what fast attack you do, I guess this is not possible now?
Sometimes I want that fast stab or slash, not some 360° spin "fast" attack.
Tried if moving to some direction effects that but guess it doesnt matter.
That's the way to play this game.
On a harder difficulty the combat starts to shine
Btw, I hope the patch comes out today.I haven't played in a couple of days.I don't want to lose more experience points.
Anyone else have NPC popping? Noticed it on the Fylke Island quest (Peddler) but also afterwards.
I have noticed that after the latest patch, people, guard's mostly just pop up in front of you. I have seen their names a few times as well just floating in the air until you get near them.
yup I see NPC popping in a few areas.
Like you say it's something that's apparently caused by the 1.04 patch.
Also managed to reach the end of the world Then the map opened automatically and when I closed it I was floating high in the air. I started running and fell helplessly to my death
